(https://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/su_g?shop_selection=tag&tag=flower) Channeling my inner Matisse (in his cutouts phase) to "dream up a bold and graphic floral design" as per the instructions led me to tibouchinas - a flower that deserves a lot of time and celebration as it comes in the most wonderful colors: purples through to lilac, lavender, pink, mauve, magenta, and (yes!) even puce (in all its range), and although I took some liberties with its structure I've tried to stay true to its colors and profusion.
