In Sanskrit, the word 'mandala' simply means circle. It is known as a spiritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. My title channels a 1950s song by Pete Seeger: "Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is a Season)", a song made famous by The Byrds but which itself used the words of the biblical Book of Ecclesiastes while my design references wind wheels turned by people as they pass in memory of what matters to them.
