About the Design

'Aqua + Turquoise Mermaid or Dragon Scales by Su_G' (https://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/5465748), after Fabergé. Oil on canvas © Su Schaefer 2016 SMALLER scale version: 'SMALL Aqua + Turquoise Mermaid or Dragon Scales by Su_G' (https://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/6377176). See more ‘after Fabergé’ designs by Su_G. (https://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/su_g?shop_selection=tag&tag=faberge) Printed beautifully on basic cotton - see the thumbnail (double click for a clearer view). I like this better printed than on the monitor. The House of Fabergé made jeweled and/or enameled eggs, mostly miniature, that were given as gifts at Easter. The most famous were the larger ones made for Alexander III and Nicholas II of Russia (known as the "Imperial" Fabergé eggs). About 42 of the 50 eggs known to have been made have survived. [Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faberge_egg)] See other designs by Su_G. (https://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/su_g?sort=classic) Original: Oil on canvas, after Fabergé, basic repeat. [Currently set @ Fabric: 250 ppi; Wallpaper: 200 ppi] [ Proofed on Fabric @ 250 ppi - series original proofed @ 200 ppi // Filename: light_teals_8x7-5_rotated ]
