An FQ of quilter's cotton gets you 8 pennants, an FQ of sateen will get you 12 pennants. If you'd like a whole bunch of neat extras, the whole yard of quilter's cotton will get you an additional two 14" pillow fronts with coordinating bunting design (which you can top stitch for a quilted effect) and three drooler bibs.
