A flower and paisley filled time trip to an imaginary world of the 1960's where peace signs are no longer a political statement and there are hearts and vines everywhere. `I have to laugh at what gets picked up decades later as iconic of an era. Back in the real 1960's the Readers Digest magazine printed up millions of window cling American flags to be stuck on the glass of anti-hippie car owner's vehicles. For every car owner who destroyed their paint with Rickie Tickie Stickie flower power daisies, there were 20 anti-hippie cars featuring those Readers Digest flags. I don't remember anyone putting peace signs on their cars, though there were end the war bumper stickers. And Haight Ashbury didn't become the proverbial hippie haven by being a neat and trendy Victorian enclave off the panhandle of Golden Gate Park. It became a place where moneyless and strung out kids went because it was a slum. It was the cheapest place you could live in San Francisco, so the least desirable elements of society ended up there. But hey, who cares about facts and truth when there is so much fun in the fiction of nostalgia.? So peace out. Here's a trippy hippy sixties design that is entirely 21st century fiction. I make no attempt to represent it as anything less. (file E02-ch2, 3266189) The boring fine print (that is actually the same size as a The size (scale) you see displayed in all Spoonflower offerings is actually only a suggestion. In my case it is the size I personally wanted for my eight inch proof of the design. Because this is custom printing designs can be made in any (technically possible and reasonable looking) size. You can even order the same design in two sizes, such as a yard of big and a yard of small, to use together. This does take communication and co-ordination with the artist. But do not think that the scale you see on the screen is the only way the design comes. If you need tiny and the design is big, or the reverse, you can buy a design you like that way.To see more of this artist’s work you may use the keyword 2084.
