Cut between the yellow and violet stripes, finish edges, and wear to your rally. I recommend ordering two yards to make 7, or one yard to make 3, using two lengths joined at the shoulder, and another that doesn't wrap and will need to be pinned at shoulder and hip. Bonus points if you miter the shoulder. I designed this because I'm planning on participating in a suffrage rally at a Steampunk convention this autumn, and I felt that the best way to do that was with a suffragist sash, that way no one would wonder what I was on about. I've also put some together in different colorways, representing the various Women's Suffrage groups over the many decades of the movement. Although the gold and purple, and green and purple suffrage sashes seem to be the most common, I felt it was important to do a red, white, and blue version
