My entry in the 'Bauhaus' fabric design contest. The Bauhaus: The Bauhaus was a school whose approach to design and the combination of fine art and arts and crafts proved to be a major influence on the development of graphic design as well as much of 20th century modern art. The Bauhaus educational principles were a reaction to the heavily ornamented design which was common in the early 1900s. Applied to industrial design, architecture, graphics, interior design and typography, they include harmony of design and function (form follows function), with a deliberate lack of ornamentation. This design is available as fabric, wallpaper, and gift wrap. Please use rulers at top and side of view window to determine size/scale of design, thank you. I suggest ordering a test swatch in the fabric of your choice, as colors may vary a bit depending on type of fabric.
