The circles are from two to five inches in size. The fabric repeat is 13.3 inches. Decorative and painterly, this pattern would be pretty in a garden room or child’s room. It would be comforting in a pediatric and dental clinic, too. Flowers of daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, and violas awaken each of us to the beauty of springtime. Country Americana for animal lovers, the cheerful design comes in four colors. Samantha Chadwick let me take photos of the adorable bunnies that she raises. Then only three weeks old, the Holland Lop and Dutch rabbits were like sleepy babies, yet capable of sudden bursts of speed. For their safety, I took photos indoors near a large window. Having fur soft as buttery silk, the bunnies liked to huddle together. Known for mild temperaments, Holland Lop rabbits are popular as house pets and as competitive show animals. The art arose from three of my oil paintings, with my hand-drawn scrolls in the background. I hope you will show me the projects you create with my fabrics. It would be joy to see them. © Nancy Lee Moran Copyright Notice: This image does not belong to the public domain.
