Swedish tradition says if you put seven different kinds of flowers under your pillow before you go to sleep on Midsommar, you'll dream of the person you'll marry. Most of the flowers depicted in this fabric are stylized version of actual Swedish wildflowers, including grässtjärnblomma (stitchwort), smultron (wild strawberry), akermolke (sowthistle), kamomill (chamomile), åkerförgätmigej (forget-me-not), linnaea (twinflower), skogsstjärnor (starflower), backsippa (pasqueflower), gullviva (cowslip), bergklint (cornflower), våtarv (chickweed) and smörboll (globeflower). (Some of the flowers that are white in real life are pink in this version to work with the white background, if you're a stickler for botany.)
