We have great big juicy fecund lemons in our orchard right now. Their lovely smooth golden skins are a welcome pop of colour in an otherwise wintery monotone landscape. We are making hummus daily and the kids love being the chosen one to run out and pick the lemon. 'Needs to be a bit more lemony mum' they aways say as we taste test this delicious dip. Perhaps we should make some lemonade next time….ha, although their mean old mum is a bit tight on the sugar intake!!!
